I became interested in Astrology at an early age, and by about eight years old I knew my Sun sign and those of my friends and family members. 

As a teenager, I was very interested in the compatibility between signs as I began to date, and I had my natal chart cast and interpreted for the first time at the age of 15. This led me to seek information on charts and planetary placements for a greater understanding of what it all meant. 

Over the years I read many books on Astrology, adding to my interest and knowledge base.  After many years of being self-taught, a series of personal crises created a desire to take my knowledge to a deeper level, and that was when I began more formal studies.

My own chart demonstrates my ongoing pursuit of knowledge, and I consider both astrology and tarot to be lifelong learning adventures.

NAVIGATION

In addition to my love of astrology, I have been an avid sailor for many years, which helps keep me in tune with the shifting skies.  I have always been fascinated with how early explorers and merchants managed to navigate their way across the oceans, often using only the Sun and other heavenly bodies as their guides. 

When I studied Celestial Navigation, I was struck by the similarities it had to Astrology. Both chart the movements of the skies against our current position on Earth, both help us to determine where we are, where and when to change direction, and how to avoid potential pitfalls and difficulties. 

In fact, my favorite definition of Celestial Navigation is “The Art and Science of Finding Your Way by the Sun, Moon, Planets, and Stars”. A perfect description of Astrology! I think of Astrology as a form of celestial navigation, and I would be pleased to help you navigate through life.
